EcoVogue empowers young girls to explore careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) by connecting these fields with the world of fashion—a space that is creative, familiar, and hands-on.
At the same time, the project raises awareness about the environmental impact of the fashion industry, addressing issues such as pollution and climate change. By doing so, EcoVogue aligns with the goals of the European Education Area and the 2030 Strategic Framework for Education and Training.
Through innovative learning experiences, EcoVogue inspires girls to develop new skills, spark creativity, and become active contributors to a more sustainable future—supporting the EU’s 2050 climate goals while shaping the next generation of changemakers.
The EcoVogue project is an Erasmus+ initiative designed to address the underrepresentation of girls in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) by using fashion as an innovative educational tool and motivation lever. This project blends environmental awareness with fashion, aiming to boost girls’ interest in STEAM subjects through creative experiences linked to fashion and sustainability.

The EcoVogue project is implemented across six European countries, through the active collaboration of partner schools and organizations. Each partner contributes by conducting research, engaging in outreach activities, and organizing events that connect young people, educators, and communities.
In addition, the project develops training materials and organizes training mobilities for both educators and students, ensuring that knowledge is not only shared but also applied in practical, creative, and collaborative ways.
Together, these efforts form the foundation of EcoVogue – combining knowledge, creativity, and cross-border collaboration to promote sustainability, innovation, fast fashion awareness, and greater participation of girls in STEAM fields.
